Venue horrible, bands were great
I would give Boy George and the B-52's 5 stars. Their performances were stellar and thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately, I missed out on seeing the Thomson twins as they finished before the scheduled start time on my tickets. The show was stated to begin at 8:00 PM in all correspondence, but when I arrived at 7:15, I was informed it had actually started at 7:00 PM. This led to us missing the 1st act completely, which was a terrible disappointment and felt like false advertising. The venue turned out to be a tent with porta potties, completely different from my expectations. The plastic folding chairs were cramped and uncomfortable, making it difficult to see the stage. Given the ticket price and the venue's reputation for concerts, I had anticipated a more spacious outdoor pavilion setting. The makeshift tent setting was a letdown; I had hoped for an experience similar to the Greek theater.
